Early Daisy Manufacturing Co. cast iron frame BB gun, Plymouth, Michigan production, circa 1898–1902. Features cast iron receiver with raised "DAISY" lettering, brass lever and trigger assembly, round steel barrel, and solid wood straight buttstock. Single-shot configuration. Reported to function. Metal surfaces display expected patina and age wear consistent with 120+ years of honest use. Stock solid with natural grain showing. No box or accessories. A scarce survivor from Daisy's Plymouth-era cast iron production — one of the earliest BB gun designs in American manufacturing history. These cast iron frame guns preceded Daisy's transition to folded sheet metal construction and represent the first generation of what became an iconic American product.
