This upholstered armchair has a gently curved, button-tufted back, scrolled arms, and a loose seat cushion with welted edges. It's covered in a lustrous black fabric with an allover pattern of woven gold-copper dots. A shaped, scalloped wood apron runs below the seat, and the chair stands on cabriole legs, with carved ball-and-claw-style front feet. The custom upholstery gives a classic traditional form a bold, fun look, suited to a bedroom, reading nook, or accent spot.
