Large decorative military display modeled after a 19th-century French cuirassier/heavy cavalry uniform, comprising polished metal breastplate/cuirass, elaborate brass-mounted metal helmet with red horsehair-style crest and plume, dark uniform coat with red facings and gold-tone trim, shoulder scales, braided cords and additional uniform accoutrements. The helmet and armor closely follow the distinctive appearance associated with French cuirassier cavalry of the Napoleonic and later 19th-century periods.
