Large Chinese cloisonné enamel baluster vase with flared neck and pedestal foot, richly decorated with flowering peonies, lotus and scrolling foliage together with birds and stylized rockwork. Brilliant gilt ground filled with dense scrolling wirework, with polychrome enamels in green, pink, lavender, blue, white and red. Floral and ruyi-style borders decorate the neck, shoulder and foot.
