Large Chinese blanc-de-chine glazed porcelain figural group depicting the Eight Immortals, modeled in high relief among flowering plants and rocky landscape. The figures are individually modeled with traditional robes and attributes, including staffs, fan and other symbolic objects. Finished overall in a glossy white glaze with extensive applied floral and foliate decoration. Chinese, 20th century. Appears generally well preserved from this view; due to the extensive delicate applied decoration, examine carefully for small chips, losses or repairs to fingers, flowers, staffs and other projecting elements. See photographs. Dimensions: 16"x8"x11"
