Large Chinese decorative sculpture modeled after a Tang Dynasty caparisoned horse. Standing horse depicted with arched neck, elaborate saddle and highly detailed relief-decorated saddle cloth, harness ornaments and stylized tack. Finished in an antiqued green, brown and ochre patina to simulate an excavated bronze or ancient surface. Mounted on rectangular plinth. Modern decorative reproduction inspired by ancient Chinese equestrian sculpture. Condition: Scattered surface wear, rubbing and variations to the antiqued finish.
