This large hand-carved wooden giraffe stands tall with a long, graceful neck, alert ears, ossicones (the knob-like horns), and a finely carved face with expressive eyes. The body and legs are carved all over with the giraffe's distinctive patchwork coat pattern, and the figure stands on an integral rustic base carved to look like rocky ground. It has a warm, dark brown stained finish. At over five feet tall, it's a dramatic floor statement piece for an entry, great room, or safari-themed décor. It measures approximately 63" tall. Condition: There is scattered surface wear, checking, and finish variations consistent with carved wood and display. Please see photos for condition.
