This console table is in the Regency Neoclassical style. The shaped half-round top has canted, stepped corners and a figured, book-matched veneer framed by a dark inlaid band. A reeded, molded edge sits above a deep frieze. At each end, a pair of splayed saber legs rises into carved scroll volutes beneath the top. The legs are fitted with square panel blocks and ringed collars, and they end in block feet. A serpentine-front lower shelf joins the two leg assemblies. The warm, antiqued brown finish highlights the wood grain, making this an elegant statement piece for an entry hall, behind a sofa, or along a dining room wall. It measures approximately 64" x 20" x 32". Condition: There is light surface wear and scratches to the top, and scattered finish wear to the edges, legs, and feet, consistent with use. Please see photos for condition.
