This is a rustic Continental-style harvest (farm) table in the Louis XIII and Spanish Baroque manner. The rectangular plank top is in a warm, heavily distressed fruitwood or pine finish and is made in hinged sections joined by hand-forged iron strap hinges with shaped ends, so the outer leaves fold over to narrow it into a console or serving table. It stands on four boldly turned baluster legs with ring collars, joined by a shaped serpentine H-stretcher, on turned bun feet.
