LOT 293 - Diego Rivera "Flower Festival Feast of Santa Anita" Decorative Print, Framed
Description

This is a large decorative print after Diego Rivera's painting of a Mexican flower market. At center, a woman in a pink blouse and violet skirt, with a blue rebozo (shawl) knotted at her chest, hands a huge bundle of calla lilies to a kneeling woman with long black braids. A young girl in a yellow skirt and striped shawl carries tuberoses, and a kneeling boy in white binds another bundle of callas. Enormous calla lily bouquets fill the background, along with baskets of strawberries and onlookers. Rivera's signature is printed at lower left. It is presented under glass in a triple mat (cream, purple, and teal) in a lavender frame. Framed size: 32" x 37" (frame dimensions).
