Each carries a printed facsimile signature and date, the botanical name in italic type in the lower margin, and a © 1986 Reed & Carnrick imprint. Oncidium ornithorynchum (1983): sprays of lavender-pink blooms over curving teal leaves Paphiopedilum philippinense (1984): a slipper orchid with long twisting maroon petals and yellow pouches Odontoglossum Burkhardt-Holm (1986): tawny blooms spotted in chocolate, above a clump of green leaves Paphiopedilum spicerianum (1984): two green-and-bronze slipper orchids, in horizontal format All four are presented under glass in triple mats (sage, green, and burgundy or gold) and matching pickled-oak frames. Each framed size: 19" x 23" (frame dimensions).
