This is an original work on paper showing a large country house or manor through trees, with a wooded bank and a reflecting pond in the foreground. It is drawn in loose, broad strokes of blue, green, and yellow, and the palette and handling recall French post-impressionist landscape work. It is signed at lower right in dark ink, and the signature is not fully legible (reads approximately "W____y"). It is presented under glass in a linen-wrapped mat with a natural wood liner and a cream-painted frame. The framing looks typical of the 1960s-70s. Medium: pastel/crayon on paper Dimensions: Framed size: 29" x 25" (frame dimensions). Condition: The paper shows visible cockling and waviness across the sheet, and there is light scattered spotting on the linen mat. Not examined out of frame.
