Once you are in the Simulcast console, you can view the lot details by clicking the lot picture with "i" under "Current Lot."
If you are unable to attend the simulcast, you may use "Prebid Now" button: below. This is essentially for leaving absentee bids. This button will be disabled when it's turn for live bidding. You are NOT actively placing bid by utilizing this button.

2) If there is a significant error, please call us rather than utilizing this chat feature. We'll do our best, but depending on who is

Bidding Methods
- Auctions are conducted simultaneously in-person and online
- Floor bidders must register at the auction site and obtain a bidding number
- Online bidders must register through our online platform and maintain valid payment information
- Both bidding methods are treated equally - highest bid wins regardless of source
- Server time is the official auction time
- In case of simultaneous bids of equal amount, floor bidder takes precedence
Technical Requirements for Online Bidders
- Stable internet connection required
- Refresh your screen regularly - we are not responsible for internet delays
- Auto-bidding (max bid) feature available for online bidders
- Online bidders should account for 3-5 second latency in bid transmission
- We are not responsible for missed bids due to internet connectivity issues
Buyer's Premium & Payment
- 15% buyer's premium applies to all purchases
- Indiana Sales Tax (7%) charged unless valid ST-105 is on file
- Invoices provided immediately after purchase:
- Floor bidders receive physical invoice
- Online bidders receive email invoice
- Payment methods vary by item category and bidder location
Special Payment Requirements
Vehicles
- Payment for vehicles MUST be made by:
- Cash
- Certified funds (cashier's check or money order)
- Personal checks and credit cards NOT accepted
- Payment must be completed before vehicle release
- Floor bidders must pay before leaving auction site
- Online bidders must complete payment within 24 hours
Precious Metals (Gold & Silver)
- Payment MUST be made by:
- Cash
- Certified funds if buyer is known to Burgess Auctions
- New/unknown buyers must pay in cash or certified funds
- Certified funds payment required for all precious metal purchases
- No exceptions to payment terms for precious metals
Vehicle Title Support
- Title support limited to 30 days from auction date
- After 30 days, Burgess Auctions will not assist with title issues
- Buyers must complete all title transfers within timeframe
- Title processing fees buyer's responsibility
- We are required to collect Indiana Sales tax on all titled vehicles, we will issue you the State 108A form that show you paid sales tax.
Preview & Pickup
- Preview available to all bidders during posted dates/times
- All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" - inspect before bidding
- Floor bidders may take items upon payment
- Online bidders must schedule pickup time
- Items not picked up during designated window considered abandoned
- Shipping available through our office (765-445-7814)
Item Descriptions & Photos
- Bid based on item description, not photos alone
- Photos are for reference only
- Items may be displayed differently in-person vs. online
- Online bidders encouraged to attend preview
- Contact us with specific questions before bidding
Technical Issues & Auction Control
- Auctioneer reserves the right to:
- Pause online bidding
- Regulate bidding increments
- Add or remove items
- Split or combine lots
- Add minimum bids or reserves
- Modify auction dates and times
- Final determination of winning bids rests with auctioneer
- No disputes over bid amounts once item is declared sold
Liability & Disputes
- Bidders responsible for all bids placed under their number/account
- Keep bidding credentials secure
- Report unauthorized access immediately
- Buyers must resolve disputes with other buyers directly
- Our liability limited to purchase price paid
General Terms
- By participating in our auctions, you agree to these terms
- You must be of legal age to participate
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws
- We reserve the right to deny bidding privileges
