By bidding at this live auction, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These apply to all bidders in attendance or participating via absentee bids.

1. All Sales Final

All items are sold as-is, where-is with no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied. Buyers are encouraged to inspect all items before bidding.

2. Registration Required

All bidders must register with valid ID and obtain a bidder number before bidding.

3. Buyer’s Premium & Payment Terms

A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to all winning bids.
 We accept cash, approved checks, and major credit cards.
A 5% discount will be applied for payment by cash or check.

All purchases must be paid in full on the day of sale.

4. Sales Tax

Indiana sales tax will be collected unless a valid exemption certificate is provided at registration.

5. Absentee Bids

Absentee bids may be left in writing prior to the sale and will be executed competitively but are not guaranteed.

6. Auctioneer’s Discretion

The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid and to resolve any disputes. The auctioneer’s decision is final.

7. Item Responsibility & Removal

Items become the responsibility of the buyer at the fall of the hammer.
Burgess Auctions is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged after they are sold.
 All items must be removed the day of sale unless prior arrangements have been made.

8. Announcements Take Precedence

Any announcements made from the auction block take precedence over printed or posted material.

9. Liability Waiver

All persons attending the auction do so at their own risk. Burgess Auctions is not liable for accidents, theft, or injury on the premises.

10. Firearms (If Applicable)

All firearm sales will be handled in accordance with federal and state law through a licensed FFL. Buyer must be legally eligible to purchase.
