A beautiful example of Handel's acclaimed reverse-painted art glass. The 12" shade is signed "Handel" and features hand-painted Birds of Paradise — one of the manufacturer's most beloved motifs. Minor chips present under the 4" fitter. The bronze fixture with hanging tassel is unsigned but period-appropriate. Handel lamps are among the most collectible American art glass lighting of the early 20th century.
